1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Holiday List Swap Discussion and Gallery Round 10 - 12 on: November 14, 2013 08:03:14 AM
I received the last of my swaps for this round today, so I thought I'd let the Thank You's begin.

First up, thanks to Lo{ve} for a fantastic cowl.

Next, many thanks goes to LadybugsandBumblebees for a very pretty set of scubbie dots. Though, I think they're too pretty for scrubbing. Perhaps coasters? I'll let the lucky recipient decide, shall I.

And last, but not least, thanks to GrabaCoffee for claiming me for a stunning wire wrapped shawl pin. I'm definitely keeping this one for myself.

and the very pretty beaded heart, my favorite shape...

Having problems with the upload at the moment. I'll post later this evening, hopefully.

2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Holiday List Swap Discussion and Gallery Round 10 - 12 on: November 03, 2013 12:38:42 PM
I'm back in the land of the swapping active and no longer obsessing over testing for my black belt in karate. I'm happy to say that both of my girls ages 13 and 15 and their 40 year old mom have now earned our black belts. YAY! My husband jokes about having his ninja squad to protect him, instead of the normal gender role of the great male protector.  Wink He thinks it'll throw any would-be attacker for a loop. That goal checked off of the to-do list means that I can get my claims in the mail and post the pics of my latest fantastic cowl. It also means I can start eating and cooking and breathing instead of being a ginormous bundle of nerves. Ah, to breathe again. Again, to my partners, Watsonc7 and LadybugsandBumblebees, sorry to be getting your claims in the mail late. They are ready to go, though.

I received a fantastic brown and white cowl from LadyBugsandBumblebees earlier this week. I gave up on having one of my girls model it and took it on myself this morning. Now to figure out who's going to be the lucky one to receive it.

I claim LadybugsAndBumblebees for keyrings and lanyards . This is my 4th claim this round.

Hi my name is Amy. I live in the soggy Seattle area with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. The girls and I are testing for our black belt in karate at the end of October and are crazy excited about it. Now that its winter, if were not actively training, were usually cold. So anything that helps us bundle up in a fashionable way, is greatly appreciated.

Anything in red means I'm begging  Grin

I've also got a "Craft for me Please" board, where you are free to roam. Those are just my more recent loves. Any boards are up for grabs, though.

I got called into volunteer and take up space tomorrow, so I'll save some homework to keep myself busy. Just as I made a claim, I reread the rules of the swap and realized I have to wait for a package to received. So, I'm sitting on my hands waiting to jump in again. I'll just hang out and drool over everyone's goodies while I wait. So excited!

I started Disco Queen Highness' cowl, then got sick with a sinus infection.   Tongue  I've been on antibiotics for several days now, so I'm going to work on it while watching 'Survivor' in a few minutes.   Grin

I hope you're feeling better. Hate to hear you had to frog my cowl when you're sick. That's the worst. It will come to a loving home though, if that helps any at all.

The unicorn pillow has to be one of my favorite things EVER. I'm also loving the charging pockets. You guys are fantastic!

I have just finished up both of my claims. I shipped one and will ship the other while picking kids up from school today. I've got to get my homework done for the week then I can head over and shop for my next crafty claim.
