I'll be finishing up my second claim tomorrow. It's most of the way there, I've just got put some finishing touches on one of the goodies. First claim went out today. My hopes are that both birthday girls feel spoiled. I stalked like crazy to, hopefully, nail your styles.  I've had a great time crafting for both of you, Alchemy513 and aheartofglass.

Everything is amazing! Those bracelets look wonderful and so soft. The detail in embelishing all of these lovely birthday gifts is wonderful. Love the mouth pocket on the OctoBear. I finished my birthday math final and tomorrow get to craft most of the day away. Look out Alchamy513, hopefully you don't get random crafty bits flung from afar whilst I craft like a mad woman for you. I've had ideas popping up since I signed up. I can't wait to get started.

TroubleT, the girls and I study Shudokan karate. We're looking at getting our black belts November 2013, if all goes as planned. Our school does a really great job teaching life skills and tying karate to school and family life. They've learned so much practicing martial arts. It's been great!

The "special" thing I get to do on my birthday this year is take my math final at 6PM. Kind of a drag to be studying all day and missing the evening with the family on my birthday. On the other hand, it's the last math class for a couple of weeks, so Yay! I'm going with a glass half full on this one.

Hey everyone, I’m Amy. I live near Seattle, WA with my husband & 2 girls. My birthday is March 20. Last fall I went back to school for nursing. I’m hoping to finish nursing school before my oldest finishes high school. There are a couple of books on my must read list at the moment. My oldest tells me I have to read Hunger Games so we can go see the movie. Then, there’s the book, 50 Shades of Gray, that I saw on Good Morning America that’s on the must read fairly soon list, as well. So, that’s my life, school, raising 12 & 14 yo girls, trying to keep up on my reading/crafting and oh, there’s karate. The girls and I also take karate together. We just tested for our green belts. Yay, that means we’re now more than halfway to our black belts. It also means we’re finally getting a clue as to which way our bodies should be moving. It’s funny to think that I’ve had this very same body for 39 years now and it doesn’t always want to do what I tell it to. Remember when you first tried to rub your tummy and pat your head. That’s a lot like karate for me, somedays. Wouldn’t give up the time with the girls for anything, though.

In general I love hearts, zippy bags, black/white/purples/blues, scarves/cowls, tote bags, Dr. Who, Harry Potter, green tea, popcorn and zentangles.
