1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / A tutorial on making a journal from old album? on: December 23, 2008 11:51:53 PM
I know of some people who have taken old album covers (think vinyl album) and used it to make the front and back of the journal. I have an album I adore that I got from Goodwill, and now just want to know if there are any tutorials to teach "journal/notebook making"... I've never made one before!

What materials do I need? How does it stick together? Helpful suggestions for the papercraft newbie? All are welcome!
2  COOKING / Dessert / Home-made ice cream maker? on: November 27, 2008 01:26:24 PM
Well, as opposed to spending $40-$100 on an ice cream maker to cool home-made recipes and thus turn them to ... iced cream, I remember home-made options that were available back in second grade when we experimented with making our own home-made ice cream. It involved easy, already-at-the-house items; bags, coffee tins, bowls, ice, etc.

But, try as I might, I cannot google any instructions for how to construct one at home for the life of me.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Can anyone post instructions for me or direct me someplace that would have the instructions? I'm really dying to try out this recipe and make my own home-made batch!
