6  Bag for typewriter stationary in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Limegreenchicken on: January 09, 2005 02:48:52 PM
My daughter bought her boyfriend an antique 1920's typewriter for Christmas. His birthday is coming up so she bought him typewriter type accessories. She wanted a bag for him to store his paper in sooooo I came up with this. Just cheap muslin and felt. Nothing special, but I gotta share.  Grin

8  Gingerbread pillow in Needlework: Completed Projects by Limegreenchicken on: January 06, 2005 07:56:25 PM
My niece collects Gingerbread items, I was bored............so oooooooo

The poem goes:
Gingerbread children
stand in a row
very good children
always you know

They never will jump
or kick or leap
or start to cry
when its time to sleep

They never run off
or look around
and no one has heard
them make a sound

Gingebread children
are fine to meet
but, much better still
they are good to eat!

9  Re: Old flannel PJs to new book bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Limegreenchicken on: January 06, 2005 08:20:18 AM
Here ya go Elby.....you should be able to resize if needed. Would be so cute on a pillow, a scarf, just about anything. I have been looking for a similar pattern with a Dachshund sillouhette (spelling?). If anyone out there knows where I might find one, I would greatly appreciate it.

10  Pure Bliss: Ginger Bliss that is by Amy Butler in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Limegreenchicken on: January 05, 2005 04:12:19 PM
I LOVE Amy Butler fabrics!!!
The contrasting fabric on the outside is actually 3 pockets on each side of the bag.

Not sure you can actually see the scalloped stitch around the top but it is in lavender thread. color on this picture is really funky. No pink in it at all.
