I just learned how to knit on Wednesday night, after buying a stitch n bitch book. Now it's Monday (5 days later!) and I have completed a scarf and 2 dish towels! I don't really know how to read patterns yet, but I'm still really excited!
On the scarf, you can see the big error I made. It left a hole I'm going to the Salvation Army tomorrow to find a brooch to put over it!
And my dish rags. I made them for my Grandma's 70th Birthday this Saturday. Her kitchen is in red, white and blue. Luckily, Sugars n Cream makes a red white blue 100% cotton on clearance for 99 cents at Michael's!
I took a close up picture of the stitch. What's it called? Just a "regular stitch"?
