I wanted to to try something new with crocheted jewlery. I've made several pieces with wire, but I wanted to try something else. I made this necklace with five stands of crochet cotton, made with a slip stitch. The focal piece is made of peyote stitch with a fringe attached.
I made this necklace with a focal piece from a broken bracelet, smoke coloured glass beads, and new jet black glass bicones. In total, it probably cost me around $4.50 to make. I'm kinda proud how it turned out.
My DIL makes polymer clays beads, and was good enough to let me have some to bead with. The tan and black and white beads are the ones she made. They are really very nicely made, and you would be hard pressed on looking at them to see that they are hand made. I had fun putting this necklace together, I just wish I could make beads like this.
I have way too many beads in my stash, so I decided to make this necklace and bracelet using up some of my orphan beads. The centre of the necklace is crocheted, then hung on a chain. I used memory wired for the bracelet. Some beads came from old necklaces that I had remade, some are new beads. Hope you like.
I bought a used plastic mother of pearl necklace in our local flea market for a dollar, because I really liked the colour. I took the beads from it and made two different necklaces out of it. I forgot to take a picture of the first one, but here is the second one. I added the dagger pieces from a dollar store bracelet that I thought matched fairly well.
My first necklace made with right angle weave pattern. It is made with 4mm amber beads, cream colour fake pearls, and amber coloured seed beads. I made a simple pair of earrings to match. Hope you all like it!
This is a beaded bead made using right angle weave with 4mm jet black crystals. I added small clear seed beads around the top and bottom of the bead, and then added a tear drop crystal bead to the bottom using 20 guage filled sterling silver wire. This is my first post so I hope I have done it correctly.
