Ok, I"ve been good, I haven't had to ask any questions lately, but I need help now.  I have the front, back and sleeves done, and the ^%&% collar has me confused.  I read through the posts here and saw where someone had knit the collar in the round, but then realized that is not how it was supposed to be done.  I was going to knit it in the round, and now I'm trying to visualize how it is supposed to be done if it's not in the round.  That, and I'm trying to figure out what 32 stitches to pick up...ARGH....someone help,  please....

Thanks,
Bee
34  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: how can I begin to describe this? on: February 01, 2005 01:53:35 PM
What concerns me is the fact that my little boy (who will be 2 this month) saw this and now keeps saying "again" to see it over and over again.  I said to my hubby that Aidan might like big butts wrapped in gold, and Aidan sighs, "yeah"....eeeeeep....

Beeeeee-ootiful....great job.  I got this book from the library and it has been added to my very long knit wish list.  It has the easist directions for seaming up sweaters that I have seen yet.  I'm still trying to finish my first sweater, and was really worried about the putting it together, and this book has helped calm my nerves....

You friggen rock!  Your stuff amazes me! Shocked  Quite a talent there missy....I love the hat.  I am in the middle of my first sweater, and I have to admit, I miss the quickness of a hat.  Ah well...Keep up the great work.

Wow, that turned out great!!  I'm nearing the point on the back where I am about to start shaping the sleeves.  I'm a bit nervous (as it is my first sweater, and my hubby keeps saying "don't screw up") , but I will get it.  What would the suggestion be on the sleeve caps then?  Delete 7 rows of stitching? How would you write that out...I"m sitting here with the book in my lap trying to figure it out, and, again, I'm not getting it......augh....
