22  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Farmville Freak Swap on: March 03, 2011 05:00:51 PM

So are you Farmville obsessed.
Do you imagine crafts you could make around the Farmville theme. have you been on the phone with you friend/neighbor while playing and discussing FV. Have you befriended strangers or made alts just to have more neighbors.
well if this and more can be said about you then maybe you should take your addition to a new level and join a FV swap here on crafters.
I was thinking 6 points
with 1 and a 1/2 month for crafting.
I am still working on the questionnaire.
but some of the questions would be.
what level are you.
do you play other zanga games and if so which ones.
what are your favorite animals and breads on FV. (sheep- Disco, Blue pony)
do you have a favorite tree (carnival trees, weeping valentine, mapple)

23  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Small Change Purse. on: July 28, 2010 08:32:49 PM
It has a Velcro closure, and a ribbon handle. It would fit a card or two in it with small change and some paper money.  It is lined so the stitching for the beading won't show or get hooked on anything.
I made it for the 44 Cent swap.

24  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME! on: July 05, 2010 07:32:40 PM
PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME! I made these for the June birthday swap for RobbinZombie.

They are based on these pillows from her wists. But I used cotton.

25  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Mushroom Fairy House on: June 15, 2010 08:54:50 PM
For a garden swap I made this Fairy Mushroom
I used a wooden salad bowel and some tree saplings that I cut down the year before from my yard. I made the Fairy from a plastic baby like the ones you by in the baby shower section but it was 200% larger
I made the door out of a scrap piece of wood left over from fixing my porch swing. I wove some twine using pieces of bamboo chop sticks.

26  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / DR Who Blanket on: June 15, 2010 08:38:52 PM
For the Dr Who swap I made this polar fleece Blanket for my Partner. I did reverse applique for the panels and the windows. I used quilt printer fabric sheets for the notice.

27  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 47 ENTRIES / "Tired of Shopping inflation" Air mattress Shopping Bag on: February 01, 2010 02:07:25 PM
I had an Air mattress that the Children jumped on and sung a leak along a seam & patches didn't work. I just couldn't bring myself the throw it out. Then this challenge came along and so did inspiration.
After separating the top from the bottom, by cutting the baffles. I used the bottom because the top has a fake velvet & I just didn't want that look for this project. I first I cut a front panel & back panel. I didn't want any seams at the bottom corners, because I worried that the weight would pull too much and rip the bag from the heavy loads that I intend to put in it. So I made one continues strip for the sides and bottom. I made the width of the bag big enough to hold 6 two liters, & the height is 1 1/2 times that. I used the baffle plastic to reinforce were the handles are sewn to the bag. and hemmed the top to help protect the seams.  It reminds me of a swimming pool and the silly side of me would like to fill it with water. But is works great and cuts down on the trips back and forth from the car to the house. And is excellent for refrigerated goods. Which is why I chose not to line it.

28  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First hat ever - Loud Hat to go with Loud scarf on: December 19, 2009 12:16:05 PM
This did not turn out right.
So I made a new one which is in the washer right now.
She wanted a loser hat is would seem. I made a beret, and a small one at that.
I through it through the washer and dryer to full it a bit. well it is just not what she wanted. Luckily I had enough yarn left to make another one.
It has somewear in the range of 20% wool.

The Loud scarf is here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330430.msg3815793#msg3815793
29  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / a Loud scarf for a loud Teen on: December 08, 2009 06:17:39 PM
She mostly picked the colors then I found a variegated yarn 20% wool and a friend helped me match each color to that with yarns more 20% wool and the fluffy yarn which I now can say I hate working with. Next will be a stripped cap to match (with out the fluffy yarns)
