1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / My first ATCs - any Six Feet Under fans about? *one more added* on: May 12, 2009 07:52:09 PM
These are my first ATCs - I've just finished watching all five series of Six Feet Under (again!) and I'm all sad that it's not on any more so I put some of my favourite quotes into ATC form to console myself Tongue

They're fairly basic, all of  my crafty bits and bobs are packed away because I'm moving house, (plus I need to go buy some embellishments hehe).
The sizes are a bit off because I'm still learning how to use my scanner....

edit:  I just made another one.  I think I may be addicted.
(This one has nothing to do with six feet under)

Oh... it came out a bit small but you get the idea Smiley
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Coptic bound notebook made from repurposed materials on: February 12, 2009 02:55:58 AM
My first coptic bound notebook attempt  Smiley
I'm very pleased with the result, made it as a pressie for my mum and she loved it.

I used only recyclables - scrap paper, card & string from other projects, old school exercise books that my son never used, cereal boxes & corrugated card, and coloured pics from magazines.  I'll be making some more and I'll post a tutorial then if anyone's interested  Grin

3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / How to get really stubborn glue off glass bottles & jars? on: December 02, 2008 12:43:15 PM
I've tried vegetable oil, hot soapy water - this is the hard glue that won't budge, anyone got any ideas for removing it??

Thanks in advance Smiley
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Natural room freshener spray that's safe for cats? on: November 15, 2008 05:00:56 PM
Hi everyone -

Can anyone tell me how to make a natural room spray that doesn't use essential oils that could harm my cats?  I'm not sure how to make a hydrosol - and would it be strong enough anyway?

Any ideas would be very welcome - thanks Smiley
5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Irish newbie :) on: November 15, 2008 04:55:47 PM
Hi everyone... I'm Mel from Ireland and I'm a craftster addict Tongue

I've been lurking here being inspired for a few weeks now and finally joined up - I heart this site XD

I've had a long break from art & crafts apart from the odd thing here and there, so I'm looking forward to trying out lots of projects... mainly I'm into recycle crafts, repurposing things etc., also knitting sewing, drawing, painting Smiley
