You would be really good at making plugs (the kind for gauged ears), if you haven't already thought about it  Wink

Ahahahah! That is so funny! It looks just like the picture, too. I love the little detail of the stitches along the edges. Did you paint or sew the eyes?

Thanks  Grin
And I painted them.  Just black and white acrylics.
It took me like, 3 hours total to sew the whole thing (I hand stitched everything except for the little loops at the top, and ate dinner in between), so I was definitely not about to take a lot more time and sew the eyes  XD
173  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Super Smash Bro.s Brawl Sandbag plushie! on: March 15, 2009 07:22:18 PM
My boyfriend and I got a Wii a couple of months ago, and he's gotten very into Super Smash Bro.s Brawl.
I've had an extra bag of Polyfil lying around for some time now, and have been looking for projects to do with it.

Being that I haven't made very many plushies...ever...I've been looking for a relatively simple one.
So today, when I was watching the bf play his game, I remembered the Sandbag that I'd seen him beating on so often, and decided to make a plushie out of it!  haha

And here are the results:

And an "action shot" of my boyfriend with his new friend...and a goofy face:

174  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Momma said knock you out! (realistic injury makeup) on: March 12, 2009 03:47:16 PM
That is absolutely beautifully done. I always love it when makeup is used for something other than dolling you up - quite the opposite here, and it's just about the coolest thing ever.

It's gotta be amazing working in a Haunted House. Haha.

The haunted house is a BLAST--the one I volunteer at is completely homemade, so I usually help from start to finish (provided that I have the time to that year)--I help build it AND act in it.  Very, very fun Smiley

This is awesome!!! I had a gore birthday party last month for my 25th and I had people asking me if they needed to call the cops or an EMT. haha...I love freaking people out! You did an amazing job!!!

Best birthday party theme ever.
And thank you  Smiley

The bruise is amazing! The horror makeup is fun, but the bruise is the prize. Lurv it!  Grin

Thank you so much!!   Cheesy

VERY lovely designs--they look flawless!

And I love that both of your models are ethnic minorities--I'm so bored of seeing the same 80-pound, blond-haired, blue-eyed models for fashion photos.  lol
Very beautiful women Smiley

I have to ask.....was that picture posing on the bench with the columns in the background taken at Plant Hall at UT? I graduated from there Smiley

Yes, it was  Smiley
I live about 30 minutes away from UT

So, yes, I'm an aspiring photographer...honestly trying to make it into a career.
I've never taken any classes, so I know that a lot of my stuff is still really rough--keeping that in mind, though, constructive criticism is always appreciated  Wink

Just please, don't be like the people on Model Mayhem and attempt to tell me that my MODELS are hurting my portfolio....(and people ask me why I deleted my MM account...)
Especially seeing as, for most of them, it's their first time in front of the camera <3

(Pictures go chronologically, from least to most recent)

My earliest that I still have on my computer, taken 2005-ish (I was 15 or 16):

[after 2005]

Makeup and styling in the next two was by me as well:

My most recent shoot with models:

And, my most recent picture--taken yesterday for a contest.
(the theme was "loneliness"--and it's a self portrait)

Thank you so much for looking--and I'm sorry for such a HUGE post!!
