41  Handmade Newborn's Bunny in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by RenDuH on: January 22, 2009 06:41:43 PM
This is the first plushie/doll/whatever you want to call it I've ever made (not including the one I made back in 8th grade, directly from a store bought pattern), all from scratch.

My friend Leti is pregnant with a baby girl, due the first week of March, and her baby shower is this Sunday.  I made her this bunny for the baby, and also got a matching outfit (for the baby, not for Leti, haha).  For Leti...margarita mix.  XD

Anyhow, here are the pictures--tell me what you think!
It was inspired by a doll that my grandmother made for me when I was a baby.

True-to-color pictures (taken outside, rather than washed out with a flash):

Indoor pictures (color is a little more red than in real life):

42  3 Different Painted Canvas Shoes!! (warning: 3 very large images inside!) in Shoes: Completed Projects by RenDuH on: November 29, 2008 02:31:58 PM
So, some of you may remember me as green_day_gurl_ (I made the Van Gogh converse here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39772.0 )
I went on kind of a hiatus for a few years, but I'm back and have a brand new screenname!  Still been crafting all the while, though  Wink

And now I present to you three of my latest projects

Here's one of my latest projects--cheap shoes from Wal Mart, some acrylic paint, and black sharpies, and voila!

The second and third pairs were of black, low top converse that belong to my cousins, Lexie (13) and Mariah (12).
They had seen my "Silver Lining" flats and wanted THEIR shoes painted when I went up to CT (they live in CT, I live in FL) for 4 days.....yeah, lots of pressure, and I was scared to death that I was going to mess them up, but they wound up loving them.
Both were done with acrylic paint and glitter glue.

Here are Lexie's:

And Mariah's (my personal favorite):
