I've done all my crafting!!!   Shocked

But I'm not sending yet...I'm gonna keep an eye out for bits and pieces that might fit the theme but at least I've done my making...phew!
You are a machine! I'm still really struggling to think of something! x

haha yeah i agree!! i'm still in the making phase and getting some ideas from my village....today will be a good crafting day as im also a little hungover after the world cup game last night  Cheesy

ah cool - if anyone makes a world cup dress/tshirt/anything post it! we can start a little football/soccer theme! for the germans - good luck today  Smiley

i got some really nice comments about the shirt - especially when people found out i made it. paris can be quite anti-english but i even had some french supporting us last night. i guess its world cup fever, people love watching a good game despite the team. either that or we can associate with each other due to the scandals surrounding the players  Cheesy

a little miffed over here, but i love the collective spirit of the world cup, and lots of people commented on my shirt  Smiley
it's a white tshirt with a strip of red jersey across the middle (making a tie in the back) and a strip from top to bottom, each measuring 4inches wide and sewed with a straight stitch.

i met lots of lovely people in the pub and will be rooting for the aussies tomorrow - though any good football makes me smile (except when it includes a goalkeeper named Green  Embarrassed )

thanks for all the lovely comments, and good luck all you footie/soccer fans out there!  Smiley

this is just a quick one, but thought i'd post as i'm very very excited...for those not into football (or soccer....the *real* football  Wink ) it's the world cup at the mo, and tonight is England's first game against the USA, and I'll be watching it in Paris. Very international!

To commemorate the game, i customised a white t-shirt with St. George's flag. I expect a few raised eyebrows (or bottles...) in Paris  Cheesy

great hammocks - i love the reused jeans. i find my old pairs come in really hand for my 2 furballs, as it's so durable. i usually just leave them as they are or sew them into one huge tunnel tho - i'll never get over how exciting it can be  for them Cheesy

be sure to post pics of your new arrivals when you get them!

My boy left for Dubai this morning, I mad an appointment for my 1st ever tattoo and (most importantly) I made another little thing for this swap and I decided what else I want to make...quite the productive day I think.

I might even get finished this week while he's gone!  Woo hoo!!   Grin

oooh before i forget - the fabric district in Dubai is called Satwa, the best shop there was Dipak -they were planning on pulling it down for more skyscrapers  Cry but it was definitely there when my parents lived there in 2008. hope he has a great time!

and have fun with the tattoo - very exciting! post it on the tattoo board if you fancy after!

im starting the crafting tonight! we're predicted rain for the rest of the week so nothing better than getting in a bottle of wine and some thread  Wink
