22  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: reupholstering an old chair? on: June 19, 2005 02:03:51 AM
I just reupholstered a chair a few hours ago.  I THINK what you are holding up is 1 in. foam... I'm not sure where you could get it, but walmart might have some.  Just call around.  You could also try Homedepot or Lowes.  I just used pillow stuffing until I can get to the store.

I'd love to see mine if you get the time Smiley   I will post your summer hat tomorrow as it's in my kids room and they are sleeping lol.  Here is the winter one though! The blue is not the same color IRL.  It's more of a baby blue.. or gray blue.
27  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: 1st knitting project SNB scarf on: June 08, 2005 08:45:21 PM
Thanks gals Smiley Muffinpod, do you have the coin purse on craftster?  I'd love to see it!
Emily, thanks for the tip.  I want to do a Harry Potter scarf style sort of like the one below.  Do you know how they start it off?  Does Knitting in the round keep st st from curling?  I'm making a sweater for my little girl and i did a st st cast on and then a 2x2 ribbing for a boarder and i'm going to let the neck and sleeves curl.  I hope it comes out ok.  I'm stumpped with the pattern though.  I'm going to post that little problem on craftster shortly lol.

Hey gals! Great hats!  Everyone (other than my scrap partner and I) should have recieved their hats already.
The hats that have been shown are all great!  I'll post a pic of the hats I made once my partner lets me know it's ok! lol
