2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / scarves for toddlers? on: December 04, 2003 01:59:26 PM
I am a brand-new knitter (have been teaching myself from the Stich n' Bitch book). I have a birthday party coming up for a friend's two-year-old little girl and would love to knit her something. I really only have enough skills/confidence to knit a scarf. Question: Do two year olds wear scarves? (I know how silly that may sound, but I really don't know anything about kids) And, about how wide/long would you make a scarf for a toddler?
thanks in advance.

If I add food coloring to epsom salts, will it stain people's skin/bath tubs?
