6  Cool shape... in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Lylanni on: February 02, 2009 06:04:59 AM
Ok this may have been posted before, but I couldn't find any that were these containers specifically...So here goes.

Hubby and I drink a little too much coffee lol and we have alot of these left, but I can't just let them get tossed out.  I love the cool shape of the creamer containers, but I can't figure out what to do with them.  So any help from you crafty divas out there would be great!  Thanks in advance Smiley

7  Re: 2009 Holiday Handmade Crusade :: Formerly the "All Year Christmas Craft-a-long" in Craftalongs by Lylanni on: January 31, 2009 05:49:16 PM
Well here's my contribution.  I'm finishing up a few more but I thought I'd post this one since I like it the best.  You can't see it in the photo, but it's a white color and covered in ultrafine purplish glitter.  Sorry for the bad picture, I didn't have very good lighting Sad

8  Re: Craftsters Guide to Crafting for Men in Winter Holidays by Lylanni on: November 17, 2008 08:17:52 PM
My son is eleven and starting to get to that age where he doesn't really appreciate handcrafted items anymore.  He's taking guitar lessons and he's really into music, when I saw this on ebay I knew I had to make it for him Smiley  Might help some of you others who have tween boys out there Smiley

(Edit:  this is not my picture or my project I snagged the picture from ebay because the url was too long!)

9  First completed project: Decorated Journal and pen! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Lylanni on: November 16, 2008 02:48:54 PM
I wanted to make something that wasn't too expensive,  (since the paper isn't replaceable)yet elegant looking.  I used embossed felt and spray adhesive for the covers, cording for the sides of the "binding", and embroidery floss for the stitching, then added a small clasp to keep it all shut together.  I may add a little butterfly on the corner (this is for my sister and butterflies are her favorite.)  If I do I'll upload that picture too Smiley

The pen was made using the tutorial here on craftster.  I didn't have any double adhesive tape so I used spray adhesive for that as well, though I wouldn't recommend it, it was rather messy.  (I was trying to cut cost though and that is what I had on hand lol)

Sorry for the picture quality, I was hoping they would come out a little better, but I don't have very good lighting hehe.  Anyway, let me know what you think!
