1  Need more storage in bathroom in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by Sillybowtie on: March 18, 2013 03:15:39 PM

I have a bathroom just like this one (the house down the street if for sale) and I need more storage.
We are very handy people and could redo the bathroom ourselves but I think we need to get custom cabinets to fit the shape of the room. I would like to have shelving/drawers in the middle part but think it might be a lot of wasted space. Also building a cabinet on top of the counter.

Any thoughts or suggestions about storage under the sink areas?

Just received my Asian inspired coasters from moniqueramsey!
They are sooo awesome and going to look great with my black desk! They are made of of mini canvas! I might have to hang them up when I am not using them!

3  Owl Valentine Card with pencil in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Sillybowtie on: February 05, 2012 06:41:14 PM

I wanted to make my own valentine cards this year for my students. I had several ideas on what I wanted to make and first thought of integrating a sucker with the card. I saw these pencils at Micheal's and this was perfect. We are always in need of pencils and they cannot get sick from them (well maybe if they chew on them long enough).
I was thinking of integrating the pencil into a butterfly, a rose, or a heart. Svgcuts just put these cute Owls and I googled some cute owl card sayings. I am very happy on how they turned out. The speech bubble is from the SCAL shape library.
I am going to put the to and from on the back.

4  Tea/sugar wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Sillybowtie on: December 29, 2011 03:33:15 PM

For Christmas I try to make at least one item to give family and friends. Last year I made fabric tissue covers. This year I had to think of a new idea that would be easy to make. While on vacation some of my family members love Splenda and would carry the packets in plastic baggies and that was too tacky! Now they will carry it in style!
I could not find a pattern that did not have a button/snap/Velcro but decided to make this. It is so easy and if I get motivated to make a tute for it. The other fabric (with the red on it) on the front is where the flap goes. It holds the flap down and I have not had any sugar packets leave. It was originally just to hold sugar packets but it did fit a tea bag.

Here is my bag from SarahBlais!
This is the mascot (Mountain Lion) from the school I work at. She did an great job! I cannot wait to show it around at work tomorrow.
The bag is so me. I love anything with ruffles or pleats and the fabric is so much fun! The little pouch is perfect and it matches with the pleats!

For my birthday I got a new digital slr camera and still trying to figure out how to work it. I hope to put some more photos of the inside.

7  Re: Journal Cover Swap--GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by Sillybowtie on: October 22, 2011 12:16:08 PM
My package from Leslieshappyheart is HERE! Everything is so perfect and ME!  Tongue

Hello Kitty embroidered journal cover! I wish I thought of adding a ribbon and flower charm for a bookmark!
Cherry blossom Warmachine card holder. (my secret geek hobby I play with my DH)
Dark chocolate! We were low on chocolate and will be perfect for my microwave smore addiction.
Extra fabric from both fabrics. Going to make a dice bag out of the cherry blossom to match my card holder.
Red ribbon from the plastic bag of the small goodies. This Monday is Red Ribbon week at our school and going to reuse it for my classroom.

The journal, I love the bow! Purrfect for my name!  Cheesy

Card holder open and loaded!

Cannot wait to show off my card holder and journal today!

10  Re: (NicoleMarie Inspired) Handy Quilted Dish Mat Swap in The Swap Gallery by Sillybowtie on: October 08, 2011 10:56:21 AM

Part 2 of my package came today. I was surprised because it said it would be here on Monday!
Included is a pot scrubber (I have been looking for a replacement for the ones I used to get at Ikea), homemade scrubber flower (DH has been banned from using this), set of 12 surged napkins/drying towels, and a really cool sponge that is eco friendly!
Now I need to cook something to use all of my cool swag!
