321  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / first post of some of my sewing projects on: April 11, 2009 02:51:43 PM
I have decided to start posting some of my projects. I have admired all the beautiful things posted and decided to show a few of my creations.

The first item is a skirt I made from a pattern on burdastyle. http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/3633

This one is just a simple skirt I made from my own pattern. I added some lace trim and a belt

I don't know if you have checked burdastyle.com yet.
The pattern for the dress Malissa is what you need to create a shirt like that.

Here's the link for it.

I made the dress once without the sleeves and it turned out alright. If you shorten it to waist length, you can alter the pattern into a shirt.

I hope it helps.

Ohhhhhhh, how adorable. I was just browsing through the new posts and saw the pictures. I was squeaking because they are just so cute. You must be the happiest parent out there looking at them.
Absolutely gorgeous.

You do look very cute. I also like the hair and make up. It definitely doesn't look like a rushed project. I like the cuffs too. Nice details.

Wow, that looks amazing. It's true, most costumes you can buy are bad quality especially considering the price you pay for them.
I'm sure you'll look kick a** while kicking some a** skating.
