I LOVE this bag! I would also love some measurments(for the pieces) or a pattern... I'm an okay sewer but am terrified of creating pattern pieces!

i don't suppose you have a nifty little tut for the coin purse? I would love to make some for my family, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it, especially with the lining...

Hey everyone! a while back I found this awesome tutorial (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?opic=176509.0) on how to make this adorable little bag... well the project has been bugging me for a while and I finally found the perfect opportunity to try it out! I picked this awesome girl at work who LOVES tinkerbell, so here it is!





To complete the gift, I bought a tinkerbell bookmark and card game, as well as this adorable little nail file I found in a boutique!

I'm trying this out as of this minute for my christmas exchange at work! The girl I picked LOVE tinkerbell, so I found this awsome fabric... the only thing I added was an extra layer with the inside lining, a light plasic stuff to make tablecloths for outside.. so far it's going great, I can't wait to post the project!

it's actually very small, like 2 ft by 2 feet, my next one is very ambitious, it's a square with a heart in it and it has to be full body length because it'S for my grandmother when she's in her wheelchaire.. I forsee a week of vacation flying by! hihihi

I actually got them at walmart in a liquidation bin for 2$ a meter! it's called Up Tempo, but I can't remember who made it... Jessica something I think...

Hey guys! So this is my first quilt. I asked a friend of mine who does a lot of sewing if she could come by and help me get started. She came by this weekend and showed me a few tricks (which I will not be using on my next project 'cause I can't sew a LONG straight line, just short ones), how to cut the material and assemble and all that good stuff.

So here it is, I know it's imperfect and the lines don't square up, but I really like it anyway and it's a just a cute little size!

Tadaa! There it is! I ran out of pink binding, so I used a long leftover strip of matching marerial to make the last side's binding.


Since I changed my mind on the size near the end (because I corners were so off, I didn't feel like I should put in the effort for the decorative middle I was thinking about), I covered an ugly pillow I had to match the little quilt!

The whole thing is just right for when I read on the couch, little pillow to prop my book on and little quilt to cover the chest and arm Sorry, no action shots this time!
