I think that the closest I've seen is B4929, view C (the black and gold one), with some modifications.


A few others to check out:
Simplicity 3628 is shorter, but the top is similar.
Vogue1266 and Butterick 5295 don't look much like it, but they are long and fitted at the top.
Also check out Buttterick 5125- maybe view E could be modified? 


I feel like there might be some costume patterns out there somewhere with similar features too.

It looks like different size of rickrack tacked together. (Zig-zag stitch on a sewing machine could do that. Or for more drapy-ness, hand-sewn bar tacks.)

So pretty! And I think it would drape like giant lace -- which is sort of is.

Thanks!  I will try that.  I was also thinking about pinning it to a A-line pattern shaped pieces of water-soluble interfacing and then sewing it.  I didn't actually "measure" everything, but I was thinking maybe the 1.25 rick rack and then something around 3/4 maybe?

I don't know anything more about the skirt than is shown in the picture.  I'm personally going to use cotton rick rack with a plain cotton (cheap and easy to work with) underneath.  (I think I might do blue and blue like in the picture, although I was thinking that a light brown/tan (like chestnut on the link above) would look nice with a light dusty roey pink underneath.

Do you think her skirt is made out of actual rick rack trim, or fabric cut to look like rick rack?  Would actual rickrack fold/drape like that?

I love the print...and the back is really cute too.

I love it!  The bright pink color and satin sheen make it pop, and the classy cut balances things out so that it's not too over-the-top.   You look beautiful in it!
