215  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Pages Made For A Birthday on: November 28, 2008 09:09:36 PM
For my Best Friend I decided since I wasn't going to be able to see her for her Birthday I just created a couple pages for her scrapbook I gave her as a gift for being in my wedding.

This just made me laugh!  She kept trying to sit in the grass in her dress while waiting around during photos for my wedding!  I was so happy to find someone had taken a picture of her!!!

For our Honeymoon we went to Ireland, thus I made a page!

For Halloween I went to visit her and turned her into a zombie for a party we were attending!  We had so much fun!  We even created a back story!  She was walking home and was bitten, someone had taken her to the hospital, but she had already turned into a zombie.  I happened to be the nurse attending and she bit me and turned me into a zombie too!  She makes a fantastic zombie!!  So convincing!!!

Create a fun game for kids by coloring each well a different color, then find either pom poms or beads to use for kids to work on color recognition by sorting them out into the proper well.  Works wonderfully with 2 yr olds when they start focusing on their attention skills!

Our family had some other families that we constantly around, and we used to play jokes on each other.  For the mothers, on their birthdays, the other families started a tradition of stringing up old bras on a line and hanging them from the birthday girls house like christmas lights!  Of course there were also signs indicating a birthday, but everyone always got a laugh out of it!

Wonderful learning tool for young children.

Sporadically put squares of velcro on the outside of the container, then take old poker chips and place the other side of the velcro on each poker chip!  You would be amazed how entertaining it is for them to put them on, and then take them off over and over again!  Even better, cut a slit in the top so once they take them off they can drop them into the container!  Very excellent fine motor skill work!

Use them as the needle head when trying to weave things in and out of each other.
