2  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / anyone used moulds to make pendants - UK on: January 16, 2009 08:12:04 AM
Hi
Does anyone know where to buy moulds to make glass pendants in the UK, I've searched all over the web but can only find products in Amercia which i don't really want to buy from as it takes too long to arrive and I'm impatient!

i've heard of best mould mix from tempsford stained glass but not sure if I want to go to the trouble of making them myself.
Thanks
Melissa

4  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Glassline paints...anyone tried these ? on: January 14, 2009 02:43:26 AM

I'm asking because I have tried to use these and put half a set with the paint on top of bullseye in the kiln and half the set with just bullseyse glass, the ones with the paint on had the thinfire paper attaching itself to the bottom of the glass making an ugly mess, the others were ok.

Does anyone know why this happens and if there's anything I can do about it as I do love using the paints.

Thanks
Melissa Tessaro
5  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Lazertran & Glass on: November 22, 2008 01:18:05 AM
Has anyone tried this out, Ive got inkjet lazertran papers and just about to try it with glass but do you put it on cut but unfired glass and then fire it together after or should you transfer it after you've fired the glass...

So any questions - just got to experiment really today, I so hope it works as my enamelling didn't quite work out how it should have

Ive been using glass and enamels, as I didn't have any luck painting on the glass I sprinkled the enamel on using a rubber stamp.

Has anyone else used this method ?

I keep trying to post a message but it comes up timed out. so trying without a photo!!!
Have to put a link to flickr instead!
