1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Re: glazing techniques? on: March 14, 2009 06:25:39 PM
wow all this sounds well exciting..ive been printing onto glass but it hasn't worked out properly and now I really want to get into ceramics...

I don't know the first things about it but just going to buy a lump of clay and try my luck with my paragon SC2 although i think clay will be much harder to work with than glass which is really quite easy.

Respect to all you clay artists..

I'm interested as well, I use ceramic decals to print onto glass but it's not a perfect technique so I really want to print on clay next.

really..oh thanks so much, i have literally thrown away tons of glass developing these..now it's really about the photography more than the glass.

9  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / anyone used moulds to make pendants - UK on: January 16, 2009 08:12:04 AM
Hi
Does anyone know where to buy moulds to make glass pendants in the UK, I've searched all over the web but can only find products in Amercia which i don't really want to buy from as it takes too long to arrive and I'm impatient!

i've heard of best mould mix from tempsford stained glass but not sure if I want to go to the trouble of making them myself.
Thanks
Melissa
10  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Glassline paints...anyone tried these ? on: January 16, 2009 08:09:08 AM
Hi
Yes you are correct, I called warm glass in the Uk and I was firing at 833, the guy on the phone basically said what the hell was i firing at that temp for!

Thanks for the help although I've abandoned glassline paints now to print photos onto glass instead!

cheers
Melissa
