i have been thinking about doing seed paper for a while now.. whats the best paper to use?? also, for those of you that have used cookie cutters to make cute shapes, how well does that work?? i have made paper before but never really got too much into it, and i totally want a cute result now..

4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Cardboard? on: July 15, 2011 06:20:52 PM
ive seen people glue down stuffing from an old pillow (or toy) to a piece of cardboard, then staple fabric onto it to make it into a decoration or a headboard for a bed or even one of those french board things.

i have like a cube in mind (like those upholstered ones that you just put your feet up on top). you could glue boxes inside each other until it seems sturdy. then glue stuffing onto the outside and staple fabric ontop. and voila.

good luck.

So, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted while shopping for a jungle theme for my 2 yr olds bday. All the cards seem like they are for older kids and didn't really fit with my style. So I made these...

I found the little animal faces in a puppet party kit at michaels on sale. And it all went downhill from there. Everything else I had in my scrapbooking stash.. Hours and lots of glue later I got these and each invitation is slightly different.

I just have some serious party planning next... :]
