1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: My very incredibe, non edible, Ginger Bread house! on: July 15, 2010 07:06:36 PM
Can I ask what your dad made the house out of? I don't recognize the wood. It looks really, really cool! Talk about xmas in July!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Girl In Chains (NSFW) on: April 09, 2010 06:04:00 PM
Very cool work but I hate to point out that you missed her navel.
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Rabbit stuffie (23/05/06 PATTERN ADDED) on: March 27, 2010 02:57:51 PM
So I saw the photo of the *real* bunny on the toys page and was like "wait, that looks like a real rabbit! it can't be a toy!" I get in now... All of your bunnies are very cute!
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: The Bunny that Started it All (IMG OVERLOAD!) on: March 27, 2010 02:56:01 PM
Gah! They are so cute! I would be so tempted to buy one! And they're baby friendly too!
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: blue blanket on: March 08, 2010 02:05:37 PM
If you soak it in some warm water and pin it to a bedspread or something flat with the edges straight and leave it until it dries (this is referred to as "blocking") it will even out. It's inevitable that any crochet project will end up wavy but blocking is great to make it look more professional. It also can help you stretch items so that they're bigger. Nice job and good luck!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: the deceptive beauty of breast cancer (french knots galore!) on: October 20, 2009 07:02:27 AM
Beautiful work but good lord it's scary in a way. I think if you're female you can't helped but be freaked out by breast cancer on the most visceral level.
7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Fun Wall Hanging on: October 02, 2009 09:38:59 PM
Very cool. Is it based on a specific piece of Haida art or is it their design?
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Child Abuse Make Up - graphic images - image heavy on: September 13, 2009 11:27:35 PM
Your daughter is gorgeous. She did a great job. It's almost hard to believe that's makeup which is kind of freaky.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Headbands la Waldorf on: September 13, 2009 08:45:39 PM
Good job. I love Gossip Girl fashion and I think some of the headbands they've shown are fantastic- particularly Jenny's Queen Bee headband in the last episode. I definitely agree with you that they don't seem to be worth $200.
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: Mailbox into garden tool storage on: August 09, 2009 09:32:33 PM
Acrylic doesn't last very long outside- particularly on metal. Spray varnish the *hell* out of it with Krylon or something and it'll last a lot longer.
