1  Re: 2009 Holiday Handmade Crusade :: (July Theme Page 1) in Craftalongs by meggageg on: August 06, 2009 06:21:25 PM
Well, I don't have a gift list yet so I've been focusing on Christmasy items so far.

Quilled Snowman Ornament

Seasons Greetings Card. This is the inside of the card. I'm not done with the front of it.

2  Quilled Snowman in Winter Holidays by meggageg on: August 05, 2009 07:16:10 PM

I'm starting to get in the Christmas spirit. It is only August but I love it! I'm new to quilling but I don't think this little snowman looks bad at all.  Cool . I think I'm going to attach a string and make it into an ornament.

4  Brown Paper Bag Card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by meggageg on: August 02, 2009 04:58:04 PM
I'm so in love with my little card right now. I think its adorable. The brown background is actually a brown sack lunch bag. I free-handed everything else in the picture! Even the birds - which I am surprised they look like birds. Hah.

5  1st Card For The Holidays! in Winter Holidays by meggageg on: August 02, 2009 12:46:31 PM

This is my first card I've made this year. I needed something simple to get me started and this is what came to mind. I'm not that great with doing pop-up cards yet(this is my second attempt at one) but I like it  Smiley

6  Magazine Pendant Necklace in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by meggageg on: July 31, 2009 06:22:48 PM
I've never made a necklace before but my current mission is to make things using magazines. I just rolled small sections of magazine papers and created this. It isn't very colorful at all but I kinda like it  Smiley

7  Magazine Picture Frame in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by meggageg on: July 15, 2009 06:39:46 PM
Sorry for the picture quality. It was taken on my phone :/

This was pretty easy to do. Just roll some strips of magazine paper and glue it on your picture frame. It came out beautiful in person and I just wish my phone took better pictures for you all.

8  Love Pop Up Card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by meggageg on: July 15, 2009 04:04:25 PM
So this is my first attempt at a pop-up card. It came out a bit "messy" for me. It bends where I don't think its suppose to bend but I still sent it to my boyfriend, anyway.

Sorry for the not so clear picture. I took it on my phone.

Tessie - That is funny you posted those picture frames. I used the same frame to make a fabric frame for my mom tonight! Got to love the dollar store!
