1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / ASD awareness crane mobile on: February 25, 2012 07:31:17 AM
I made this origami crane mobile for an online auction to raise money for the National Autistic Society. It's not exactly the asd awareness colours but I couldn't find dark blue paper so I used green.

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Birdcage mobile and wall hanging. on: January 07, 2012 05:28:36 AM
I made some birdcage decorations for my Christmas tree and loved them so much I had to make more, so I made a mobile and a matching birdie wall hanging.
Hope you like!

I also made these bright one's, not sure whether to make them into a mobile yet.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Green dress on: October 05, 2009 02:26:09 AM
I made this dress using Simplicity 2591.The dress was easy to make and came together fast, although I managed to make a few mistakes! It has some nice details that aren't really obvious on the pattern package.I'm kind of happy with it - I just hope I improve with sizing and making adjustments!
I shortened it waaayyy too much, but I can wear over leggings!I messed the zip up a bit and also had to take the back in as I thought my muslin was a bit tight so I adjusted some seam allowances and it came out a bit big!

What do you think, could I wear it out in public?!?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Some tops from a newbie! on: September 08, 2009 01:33:30 PM
I've been teaching myself to sew lately and have made some tops I'd like to share, after being a lurker for quite a while!

Simplicity 3964, built by wendy. This is the 3rd time I attemped this pattern!I made some changes, leaving off the neck binding, and it's not perfect but I'm happy with it

Simplicity 2892. Even though I eased the bottom out from size 12 to 14, it's still a bit tight round the bottom

Simplicity 2596.This one's a bit tight round the bottom too!

Please let me know what you think!
Thanks for looking!
