3  Batman Pullover in Knitting: Completed Projects by soapturtle on: April 13, 2006 09:07:02 AM
This is my first intarsia and my first sweater.  I didn't use a pattern,  I used a 4T T-Shirt to figure out the sizing since it's for a 4 year old.  I made the chart that's on the sweater.   The one for the armband came from elsewhere.  The chart for the sweater is available in a link on the sidebar of my blog.

The yarn is Caron Simply Soft.

The logo is on the front and the back, and the second shot is so you can see an entire sleeve.

Thanks for looking.

Zissou!

I still need to add a patch or stop light emblem, but over all I am pleased.

5  Re: Odessa (Grumperina for MagKnits) KAL in Knitalongs by soapturtle on: February 04, 2006 08:05:18 PM
Mine's almost too small.  I can barely get it on my head.  I didn't think using US 5s would make that much of a difference.  I might do it again adding a couple repeats.

I do like the yarn and the buttons.  I just wish it were a bit bigger.

It's lovely.  Did you do the ribbing on 4s and the body on 6s?

huge I know, but at least you can see the stitch detailing well Smiley  and yes, I switched stitch pattern midway up, and have considered making another one but not sure how i want it to look overall, so I haven't.

I was inspired.

Daisy now has a froo froo girly collar.

Thanks for the idea!
