Fabulous idea... I've already made two! I'm using regular buttons to close them, and so far so good. Thanks again for the inspiration!

This  was super simple...I use pro fleece because you don't have to hem the edges. I basically just took a piece and wrapped it around him to see how much i needed. Then I folded it in half and cut it in a doggie shape (leaving an opening for the neck of course). I then sewed the bottom shut and cut holes for the arms. The applique is felt stitched on with embroidery thread, and then a boa trim around the neck (but just the back, because it would irritate them in front.) I hope this makes sense...message me with any questions!

8  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Tinting glass? on: March 23, 2004 01:41:06 PM
Does anyone know a way to stain or tint glass? We're looking for red glass cube vases at work for a party (I'm a florist) and none of our current suppliers carry them. I thought maybe there was a way to paint or tint the glass we have (we don't want to color the water). Or does anyone have a source for red glass? Thanks in advance Smiley

It's a stencil of Prince. The shirt came out ok, but when I put it on his face streches right accross my boobs and looks weird. I actually treated it last night with some acetone nail polish remover, whick got most of the cakey-ness off, and next I'll just dye it black (it's light gray right now). Thanks to everyone for their advice. I'll let you know how this works out.
