231  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / jeans to jacket? on: November 07, 2004 11:46:10 AM
i dunno if this would work but one day i had this crazy idea that maybe i could get some old huge jeans and make them into a jacket by:

-turning them upside down and cutting through the zipper fly part and making a neckline
-ripping out the pockets-would look kinda weird with them in
-cutting the legs shorter to make sleeves that would actually fit
-adding a zipper to the fly area, or not, since theres already one there?
-wearing it if it doesnt look stupid?

by these instructions, you can tell that i dont have much faith in this project, as i tried it once and the sleeves(and everything else) were all weird and scary-looking.
