3  Remember Pogs in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mirrorandmoon on: May 28, 2012 03:50:26 PM
Remember pogs? On one of my adventures, I came across a huge stash of pogs. I know I loved playing them as a kid, and then our school banned them : ( because they said it encouraged gambling, but it was fun while it lasted. Lately, I have nostalgia for 90s style and whipped these up, I have many many many more pogs...

6  Sparkly Tattoo Tutorial in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by mirrorandmoon on: September 09, 2011 01:41:28 PM

What you'll need:

♥ An inkjet printer
♥ Microsoft Word or a similar program
♥ LUSH's Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar (or a similar product) I just wish the sparkles showed up on camera!
♥ Computer Crafts Inkjet Tattoo Sheet

Step 1: In Word, fill up a whole page with all the images you are going to want & print. Mine looks like this:

My images are of, Lily Munster, Frida Kahlo, Louis Wain paintings, a cover of The Bell Jar, and a mermaid : )

Step 2: After letting your printed sheet dry, you can cut out your images.

Step 3: Pick where you wanna put it, remove the (sticky side of the paper), press in for 20 seconds or so. I recommend getting someone to help you with this part so the tat can stay straight

Step 4: Sparkle time! After your tat is set, warm up your massage bar so the glitter will go over the tat easily, but i wished it showed up better on camera. And viola!

Im excited to do the other ones after this one comes off!

10  Recycled Whimsy Crown (image heavy) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by mirrorandmoon on: August 15, 2009 11:50:15 PM

I finished this recycled whimsy crown a little while ago, and i'm so excited about it!

This piece was made from almost all recycled items (the exception is the resin part).

It is chock-full of vintage buttons, beads and ribbons, and many things i've collected over the years. (Including glow-in-the-dark stars and origami stars i've made from recycled paper). The resin piece is of the lovely Theda Bara, and the crown i used is the leftover binding of a dayplanner.

My friend Caity in the crown!

The picture of Theda Bara I used for the Resin piece
