Well 24 hours later and here is what I have so far..... I am gonna try and close up her limbs tonight and then attach them to her body.  I thinkI will save the body sculpting for the morning.  Then I just need to add hair and make her clothes!  I need to have her done by about 4:00 pm tomorrow (it's 11:30 pm now).  She is gonna be a Halloween witch!

Okay so over the course of the last few days I have received all but one of my desserts from two groups!!

I got all these goodies from Lady Llanalla!!

And love2teach sent the cutest sugar cookie making set! I added the tiny rolling pin and wooden spoons to the picture because I am giving them with the cookie making set as part of the present for my kids at Christmas.  By the way, if you were wondering, I got the tiny rolling pin and wooden spoons from the dollar section that runs by the checkout at JoAnn Fabrics!!

And the rest of the goodies below are as follows: A double popsicle from crazyda79, a carmel apple from musiclady, a wafflecone from psoupdesigns, a DQ sundae from beeker, and a cherry pie from Mrs.LindsayLoo.

Thanks ladies!  My kids are gonna have some awesome felt food at Christmas!!

I received from koalascout an adorable lunchsack with a Sunny D juice, a real fruit rollup and a bologna sandwhich with cheese and honey!

And that's not all!  She also sent this amazing "felt food making kit"!!  It has scissors with a retractable clippy-thingy, a choptick with interchangeable charms (the chopstick is for stuffing the food!), a container with tiny pins and a mini pincushion on top, chalk, and a needlebook (which I needed desperately!).  Thanks koalascout!

I also received from Mrs.LindsayLoo!  I got this super ute BLt with a little sack!

Well first of all....for everyone who asked about the metallic frame stickers....I bought them at the Dollar Store.  They come 4 in a pack. There are several different shapes and styles in one package of 4.  Also, they came in both bronze or silver. I found them in the scrapbooking section a couple of months ago. As far as uses go....I trimmed them down and peeled the sticky back off (it peeled off way too easily) and stuck on a round magnet.  I used this three-dimensional puffy-paint type glue that gives an embossed or resin-like finish to cover a small image I fit right inside the "frame" part.  Here is a picture of the magnets I made from a previous swap:

Now onto my goodies from Aikibookworm!!

I love the cutouts of the ladies (from patterns?).  I am totally gonna collage them into something great!  The bookmark will definitely get used...like today....and the sequins will be used too! Everything will get used for that matter....thanks Aikibookworm!!  Grin

18  Bridal Shower Bingo Cards in Weddings and Bridal Showers by snazzlecraft on: July 17, 2009 08:18:45 PM
My friend recently got married and I was put in charge of the bingo cards for her shower. I saw so many cute designs online but the free choices I found were just gross.  They were so cheesy. So I got inspired from the fancy ones that were way over priced and made my own version in Photoshop.  Feel free to use this design as you wish but keep it free for all (in other words don't sell it as your own design!)

Nothing new here as far as the concept is concerned.  Here are some bingo cards for a bridal shower.  The guests simply write in the gifts they think the bride-to-be will receive and then as she opens her gifts they cross off their matches!

These are meant to be printed on just a regular 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Oh and also, since I think craftster shrinks the images a bit (??) you can possibly get a larger version on my blog here: http://snazzlecraft.blogspot.com/2009/05/bridal-bingo.html

19  Re: Shrinky Dink Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by snazzlecraft on: July 03, 2009 07:04:09 PM
Prepare for total awesomeness!  I got my package from thepurplewitch today! I literally was squeeling when I opened it! She got me SO perfectly!  First a gorgeous charm bracelet with fairies and a butterfly (also an extra shrinky dink fairy is pictured in the middle).  The picture doesn't do it much justice.  Its mostly shiny silver with a frosty white shrinky dink charms with the black and then there are subtle purple things like the designs behind the images and the bead!

Next up....Napoleon Dynamite shrinkies!!!!   EEK!  I LOVE THEM!  They have holes in them already so I can make some rad stuff out of them later!

And last this beautiful fairy mobile!  It is so delicate and beautiful!  I have it hanging in front of the window that is above my craft table so I can look at it when I craft!

Sorry about all the purple...I was in a purple mood tonight!!

20  FELT SUSHI (and other goodies) -- IMG HEAVY -- in Completed Projects by snazzlecraft on: June 30, 2009 07:04:57 AM
Well I decided to post this here because its not a toy and didn't seem to fit in the other categories very well.

I just completed a "Fun with Felt" swap and as part of that swap I made some felt sushi!  I LOVE the way it turned out and would really appreciate some feedback!

Little side note -- I made the box as well for the sushi and covered it with this cool black crushed velvet-like paper on the outside and a dark green handmade paper on the inside!

All four sushi rolls: 2x California Roll, 1x Fat roll, and 1x Salmon roe

Ikura -- Salmon Roe

California Roll

Futomaki -- Fat Roll
This one has avacado, egg, and carrot in it.

Tamago -- Egg

Maguro -- Tuna

Toro -- Fatty Tuna

Ebi -- Shrimp

Ginger and Wasabi

A Fortune Cookie...

...with removeable fortune.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also made a few other fun things for the felt swap.  First a pair of newborn baby booties.  I altered the pattern from Heather Bailey's website.  Here is the link:  http://www.heatherbaileydesign.com/Booties.html
And lastly, I made a cat teaser toy using a dowel, some ribbon, a fuschia jingle bell, lots of glue and some beautiful wool felt.  I used a template from MarthaStewart.com for the leaves that can be found here:
http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.019e967a237b3c7ba70ec2109373a0a0/?vgnextoid=960f540d7050f110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=bbb7a99556c5f110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=pets-taxonomy-list-filter_pets_pet-projects&lnc=bbb7a99556c5f110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD
Oh and I fixed the stupid wrinkle at the tip of the green leaf after the picture was taken:
Anyway that's about it!
