Geez, you guys are fast!

I started on my first item last night, and I know what the other items I'm making are going to be, but I haven't gotten supplies for them yet. Cheesy

Would this be considered a large item to knit? I will be working on filling out my questionaire tomorrow.

That looks like it's a garter stitch rectangle, on ginormous needles, with zero shaping and only a little bit of sewing. I'd consider that a medium, maybe a large, depending on the kind of yarn I used and how fiddly it was. With the yarn used on that one in particular, definitely a medium for me. Smiley

ya, see I wasn't sure about the knit socks, I thought they may be more larges too, but thought I'd mention them anyways  Grin.  And I do agree with you on the hats and scarf, if they are just an easy design I would say smalls too, but both together would be a medium I would think.  Sometimes, depending on the pattern a scarf alone could be a medium, but I would think I would always put a hat as a small, unless its really elaborate!!!

I think PixieVal and I have the crocheted mediums down, but Maybe a knitter can tell us some ideas of what they think would be mediums??  Grin

I knit, and when I think of mediums, I think of things like:
complex fingerless gloves or mittens (colorwork especially)
hats that are more simple tubes
simple shawlettes
scarves
cowls that are more than simple tubes

Definitely not socks, and nothing much bigger than a 24" square (in total -- a scarf would be longer but not as wide), unless I was using *really* bulky yarn. Probably not anything made with less than sport-weight yarn.

I go by time spent, usually, and I use "a few hours to up to two days" as my medium range. (Socks take a week, if I'm lucky.)

Ooh ooh ohh this looks like a fun one. I do both, so it's tough to pick a side on this one! I'll have to think about it for a bit.

Ready to get started on this. It was hard to narrow down my animal list to 10 and I realized after sending it that forgot some animals that I love, oh well that's what a wist and a pinterest are for.

Oh man, I completely blew past the 10 limit. I figured it was more of a suggestion than a hard limit. Wink

Yay I got my package! Cheesy

all the loot~

there was lovely soap and sugar cubes and scrubby cloths

and because I'm approximately 4 years old and can't leave anything wrapped up ever, I had to unwrap and smell the soaps (heavenly! They're almond-cookie and hazelnut-coffee scented!)

there were salt scrubs (orange and lemon-lime), lip balm, and some absolutely delicious white tea (my favorite!)

a custom embroidered towel and a super fabulous necklace ( it's going to make everyone at work jealous Grin )

there was also a set of magnets, which went on my fridge immediately, and so I completely forgot to take pictures of them. They're gorgeous melty-glass ovals, and they look super fab. Cheesy

Thank you so so much sweetyetevil! You completely spoiled me! this is such an amazing package! Cheesy
