I did one of my first stitch projects and it was a little alice. I collect quite a bit of alice stuff and thought it would be something different to add to my collection!

I'll def. check out vegan news.  I searched online and I think it requires quite a bit of work...however thtere are some awesome ones on Etsy so i'll probably just oder them.
One thing I did do was printed on a shirt.."Eat More Tofu"...just in the bottom corner so its very discreat.  Thought that was something different.

Thanks for the ideas guys.  Aside from food i'm looking for ideas on potential crafts etc.  I made him a scarf last year for xmas (cruelty free of course).  Resuable bags is a great idea...I can make them super plain aka boy friendly.  And from your hemp comment I can maybe make some pillow cases etc. out of hemp or bamboo fabric.

My 20 year old brother is a vegan and I always have a tough time finding gifts for him.  I've bought/mad ehim many edible gifts in the past, but am looking for some cool ideas.  He is a pretty simple guy.

Any ideas are much appreciated!

I made a few of these last week. I got some light weight flannel real cheap (2.50/YARD) and the prints were really cute. They are double sided so you can have two different patterns and a put a bit of cotton batten in them for extra protection.  I doubled up the buttons and ended up using a hair elastic as I didn't have anything else.

A pic can be found here:

(I can't post pictures yet, need some more posts before i'm allowed)
