1  Re: Sailor Moon Manga Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by polutechnos on: November 17, 2011 12:52:14 PM
Yay! I received my package today. I couldn't be happier  Grin. I'm glad you liked your package, Vera. Can't help but notice the Kunzite props match the background hehe.

Everyone's packages look great so far. I'll have a cuteness overload, and to add to it, here are pics of the wonderful gifts my partner (our organizer!) sent me.

A group shot. There's the cutest usagi stuffie, a great SM postcard, Silver Crystal necklace (great minds think alike! I'm wearing it now.), crocheted Michiru choker (the colour is perfect and the crocheting is so delicate <3), an amazing needlework picture, SM themed crochet pouch with CUTE hand warmer, and finally Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon key rings.

Closer pic...

Look at the amazing crochet work  Shocked

I will frame this or start an album, hehea

And another group shot with the front of the crocheted pouch and some of the cute packaging.

Thank you Vera!  Grin I love everything, but my favourite things have to be the usagi (my darling usagi, hehe), and the tiny masks. I plan on trying to draw chibi style versions of SM and Tuxedo Mask and framing them with the masks.

My first sailor moon craft was on my 21st birthday last year. An Usagi inspired birthday cake  Grin. Hubby and I copied her bday cake from the anime - the roses were just me though  Tongue.

Wow, great packages! We have some very talented people here Cheesy

I was lucky enough to be paired with stellou. I said blue and colourful, and she crafted some bright frugalness!
Something I did not expect...a gorgeous quilt. I LOVE the colours. It's perfect beyond words Smiley

She also made me a lavendar sachet, two dish cloths, bought me some beads (YES!!!), chocolate, and made a lovely card for me. I was so touched because Estelle told me she was a new knitter, and I can imagine the hard work that went into all of this. Actually, she was an inspiration to me. I've learned to knit now Smiley

How impressive is that??

Thank you again, Estelle! You've been a dream to swap with Cheesy

This one I call Cocktails and Crystals. I think you can see why

This is the Forest Ring

The Forest Ring gave me the inspiration to do this one...

And finally is the Ice Cherries necklace...which is allllll mine Smile I had a moment of longing for sparklies and made it in a few minutes before heading out.

Everything looks awesome! Here are my photos (finally took some today).

From LolaandBean I got an amazing scarf which has been MORE than useful. I've been living in it  Wink
From our illustrious organizer I received AN AWESOME BUNNY! Wow, I have no idea how you did it.

Modelling the scarf is the beloved bunny. Currently unnamed Sad

Yay! Looks like it all made it safely, despite my rather squished packaging. My pics are about the same as yours. I could never get a pic of the yarn that made it look red instead of orange (which it's not).
I'm glad the skirt fits! Oh, by the way, most of it's made of wool, so you know when washing it. It's not as good as I wanted it to be, but I was very ill so I rushed a little  Embarrassed. Glad you like it!

OK, I can't take it anymore! Here's a teaser pic...I know sg1psychopath is really busy, so she may not even see it. I just had to share  Cheesy It doesn't give anything away she doesn't know anyway.

10  Crystal and Pearl Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by polutechnos on: December 11, 2009 04:36:12 PM
This is the first thing I've beaded in years. It consists of a silver plated chain with freshwater pearls, faceted czech glass drops, snow quartz beads, and yellow swarovski crystals. I had to make the metal findings for the crystals. Painful  Undecided

What do you guys think?  Embarrassed It's a bit wonky.
