Finally, here are my photos of my fab package from Elyxandra! We swapped in person a ways back.

First of all, the crafted item: a book tote! It's got a nice almost 80's tone to it, I think.


Then there's the books! Two from my list, Blood Meridien by Cormac McCarthy and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.


And some neat water colour bookmarks.

And here is the Queen of Spades I sent audio. It looks like this one has been received, so I'll post it! It's Mary Queen of Scots, who I think is like the Queen of Spades to Elizabeth I's Queen of Hearts.

I got my lovely Regency card from leather and lace - just what I dream of! Lol. Love the design, and the carrying out of it.  (I also read a lot of Regency romances). I think I'll leave this theme on there to hopefully collect even more!

Ornaments were rolling in today and yesterday.

First of all, I also got the leg lamp from ThriftyLiving4U (back is the same as seen before, with wood slats):


Then there's this embroidered sugar skull from Koreena. Is this the one that you had to switch recipients? (I think I saw something similar on someone's Pinterest ).... but it totally worked for me! So lovely and detailed.


And finally (so far), I received some polymer clay goodies from sweetyetevil - a vampire bat, a penguin in a scarf, and a pink mustache. Lol. The bat is my favourite.

She picked me for 2 themes:

1) Bucket List - Learn to Scuba Dive

With a close up, water colour-y look at at diver.

2) Z (trying to finish my alphabet!)

And its Zano the Zionist! Haha. She says shes been meaning to use this word for a while, which pleases me.

I got 2 Canadiana ATCs for the price of one from Skrabadoo today!



Lovely Canadiana. My very favourite part is how she used Canadian Tire money as the background in the hockey card - perfect!

Yay, my mailbox was full! (Well, there were 3 ATC envelopes and some other random things). But three ATCs!

I received another card for me "Girly Art" theme - this one is from jillybeans, and it's called "w/love in her hair". So pretty! This page (4/9 ATCs so far) is looking so lovely, and I can't wait until I have a full page to show off.


And I received 2 more for my Bucket List:

First off there was my "see a volcano erupt" goal from Mountains and Clouds, and it's the "Fire of Pele" - she explains in her note: "On Big Island, there are times when Kilauea's lava streams right into the ocean over the cliffs. It's beautiful, especially at night. The steam flies so high in the air". So neat.


And next up, there's my "Route 66" goal from ThriftyLiving4U, with a great open plains view of the Mother Road.


Sigh. The only thing about these cards is that it makes me want to go see these things NOW!
