the second one looks amazing! the changes you made helped a lot. maybe you could put a small amount of shading on his cheeks to show his cheekbones because he did have some prominent cheekbones! but shading that type of thing can be difficult. great job though!

this was with holding my camera about 9-10 inches above the fabric. does this help any? there is no border left on the fabric where i could get information so i am still at a lost. the fabric feels thicker than i would think plain cotton would be. it is also softer on one side than the other. am i just confusing you more?

as for the brown fabric. it feels/looks like velvet on one side, but the other side is dull and seems like cotton.

Lo{ve}...7) green home decor fabric/upholstery weight. FQ...looks like cotton, is it?  Or chintz maybe?

The green and white fabric....is it a stripe?  All I see is green.  Is it chenille?

The brown, possibly velvet...not velveteen, right?

Wow, sorry for all the questions.  I started just wanting to know about the green FQ, but the others kept calling me.  Haha.  BTW, I love your dinos.  All of them are so cute.

i will take a closer picture of the green so you can see!
let me do some research really fast about exactly what they are and ill let you know.
but i will post a better of the green now.

i think it looks great for a first time! but there are a few things that i would do differently to make it possibly a little better. you've made his little curl that hangs down is forehead darker than the rest of his hair, but if you look at the magazine that part is actually lighter. also, his eyebrows are a bit off, you mostly have them going at a diagonal angle but his go up, then arch back down more so than yours are done. i think if you changed these two things the piece would be much better, just because most of the focus is on that part of his face. great job though! better than i could do!

i received from beefishie yesterday and this is the awesome package she sent me!

i love to sew! therefore she made me a pincushion in my favorite colors, purple and teal.

i love to color, so she melted me awesome crayons.

i'm ocd when it comes to my mouth, so i floss like crazy! this is a little pouch for flossing sticks and she filled it for me!

and she filled this cute box with all this handmade jewlery! she's so talented.

thanks for everything beefishie!!!
