2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What can I do with 100 plastic Phone fascias? on: May 31, 2009 08:42:02 AM
Hmm I would string Christmas lights through them and make some lights. Another idea is you make or buy 100 charms and hang them where the screen goes. then post them up on a board and they would be there
3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old CDs / AOL CDs / AOL CD Cases on: May 31, 2009 08:25:25 AM
I don't know if someone posted this but when i was little i would get these manual cds for computers to start up and we would cut out magazine clippings and glue them on the make a collage and use them in the garden to attract birds. It worked!
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: first time postn clay work.. on: April 04, 2009 05:25:52 AM
Cute!  Glad you found something to use!

(princessketu, the olive oil doesn't make liquid clay, it's a substitute for it.  Various oily materials will work to thin solid polymer clay--e.g., veg. oils, mineral oils, Softener-Diluent, glycerine, Vaseline, softer polymer clays, as well as liquid polymer clays, etc.)

Vaseline?! Wow I used glue once but it just dried.... silly me. : D These are so cute!

7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Craft classes? on: January 31, 2009 11:30:58 AM

1. Do you attend any craft classes (and or crops)?
2. If so, how often do you attend them?
a.) Every month  b.) Every 2-4 months  c.) Every 6 months  d.) Once a year
3. If you were able to use the space in which your usual craft classes are held (while classes are not in session) for a small fee, would you use the facility to work on your own projects?
yes I live in a small place were theres no room for a craft room
4. If the space where you usually attend craft classes offered you the use of special equipment (like a very expensive piece of equipment you might not be able to afford to buy yourself) for a small fee, would you take advantage of this?
5. Do you find that the classes you attend broaden your skill set or do you find yourself always using the same techniques?
Not ALL the time i.e Scrapbooking
