Ooo thanks Avocado! IF you google sheet music, a lot of neat printables show up. OR maybe you have access to old hymnals etc.

Your stars are way neater than this but I love the vintage feel of using sheet music!

My boyfriend suggested jingle mouse could use some whiskers. He also suggested a black nose and the jingle bell attached elsewhere. I have made some tweaks. I attached the bell by their ear. Its not on in the pic though Here they are:

I will be signing up!

I wanted to try something new. I have done elves before. I could do that again but wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a jingle mouse in a stocking. This is a prototype. I hope to fancy up the stocking a bit.

Very cute doll Mamarose! Everyone please let me know when you receive so I can give everyone feedback.

Also, you can never make just one Black Apple doll, right? After the swap, I made a pair for my daughter. Smiley My favorite things about these little dolls are they are so quick to make and you can make them with just odds and ends.

Remember these little darlings? A Black Apple doll is a simple, but fun ragdoll pattern shared by ETSY superstar Emily Martin. (pattern is attached to the link below in a PDF)
http://www.marthastewart.com/264299/black-apple-doll

I have used the pattern to make all kinds of fun little dolls - elves, fairies, angels, witches, Little Red Riding Hood. I've added yarn hair, capes, hats etc.
This is an easy-peasy, fun, use-what-you've-got, knock-it-out-in-one-night Black Apple doll swap. I believe this would be round two. I think someone hosted one in 2008!

This is a 2 point swap. Make a great doll brimming with creativity and send it. Thats it!

Thanks for kind words Ladybugsandbumblebees!

Here's some pics.

NOTE: I did not do the embroidery. I found these at the thrift store and made one of them into hanging towels.

Also I love charm bracelets but they are kind of distracting to wear so I made my partner some bag jewelry Wink

The flower I made for my partner really tickled my daughter so I ended up making three for her room and one for me Smiley:

I can't wait to see the rest of the gallery!!

10  Sweet and simple in Needlework: Completed Projects by gigglygirl on: February 10, 2014 02:38:13 PM
Dug through the scrap bin and made a little flower hoop while I was watching a rerun of Law & Order.  I am starving for some spring. It's hanging in my cubicle at work.

Sometimes its the simple, silly crafts that bring the most joy, right?!
