1  Dropped stitch summer top in Knitting: Completed Projects by dur30cat on: September 06, 2011 10:17:01 PM
It's been a long time since I last posted here.

I just managed to get some FO photos of the top I knitted for my sister.

I have another photo of my sister actually wearing it posted with details at my blog http://bit.ly/oJvMFF

Any comments appreciated. Smiley

3  Lacy hot summer tunic (wearable both for my mom and me!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by dur30cat on: April 11, 2007 07:28:05 AM
Hard to believe eh? I knitted this tunic for my mom.

However she still have this impression that knitwear are *too hot* to be worn in Singapore's weather. So the tunic is *temporarily under my care* - that's me in the photo so it's appearing a tad wide.

You can read more about it here:

And a glimpse of my sis wearing it

4  Can't u tell how much I love lace? 2nd pc this week but in Bamboo this time in Knitting: Completed Projects by dur30cat on: September 25, 2006 04:38:15 AM
If you are wondering why I am so into lace....knitted lace tops just makes perfect sense in our country where it's all year round heat and humidity. Else I can't get to wear my handknits at all!

I don't usually work that fast too. This piece has just been lying there begging to have the sleeve edgings finished up about a month ago! And between now and the new project, this is the only chance I have to get it converted to an FO! LOL!

Details can be found http://vintagefusionhandcrafts.blogspot.com/2006/09/moi-mine-wo-de.html.

What originally started out as a project for me ended up to be gifted to my mom!

But then, I still get to pose in it, can I?  Wink
