Just learning?? They look awesome!
You do ask for advice though so I'm going to pick on details (which is good, since it means I really had to look closely to find any problems): I would have liked to see the sun a tiny bit further in from the edge in the first one. It's great off to the side, but I miss the left side of the photo because the sun is so close to the edge that my eye goes to it and falls out of the frame. The last one, I think if you're going to center something, really go for it and make it perfectly centered. It's hard with an uneven shape but something about it seems a little off. It might be even better than it already is with some more space on the top and left side.
I've done photography for a few years and this is just stuff that I noticed; your photo's are really great!

thanks a lot!  that's really helpful! Smiley I didn't notice the centering until you said it but now it's really obvious!

Nice shot! Smiley

And there's nothing wrong with editing to create the effect that say coloured filters would create... I think the editing process is a really great part of digital photography.. lends to a lot more creativity. Besides I don't know any professional photographer that posts "straight out of the camera" images.. even just minor adjustments like curves are very important I think.

That's really beautiful!  I know what you mean about homemade things, there's something much more precious about receiving something that somebody put a lot of time and effort into.
