2  Re: OUR FIRST CRAFTSTER MEETING IN NEW YORK heck yeah you should come NEW LOCATION! in New York: NYC and Long Island by luluvision on: March 08, 2005 05:41:53 PM
I think we decided to have it every first Monday of the month, this time starting at 7pm. I've posted some pictures I took from the meeting. It was great meeting Emily, Melissa and Kiko!

I didn't use a flash so the images are a little soft. You can look in my photo gallery for mini descriptions. http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=15592

3  Valentine's Day accordian card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by luluvision on: February 14, 2005 07:57:03 PM
I made this card for my husband for Valentine's day.  It was the first time I did an accordian card. It was lots of fun and easy!

The front is covered in red handmade paper speckled with flowers. I stamped the hearts and dusted gold mica powder on them. It's tied together with some gold ribbon.
Here's the inside. I printed out silly pictures of us from our vacations we have taken.

Here's the back with a couple more pictures

He loved it and took it to work to brighten his day and think about the next vacation we'll take!

4  Happy Year of the Rooster! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by luluvision on: February 10, 2005 05:16:07 AM
Here is a card I made for Chinese New Year

The front is stamped with gold swirls on red paper. The picture is from a parade I took a couple of years ago. You can't really see it but it says Happy New Year in the banner under the dragon. The envelope I made from paper scraps and stamped a rooster on it.

The inside has a chocolate firecracker!

Hope you like it!
