5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Any free sweatpants patterns? on: January 20, 2009 08:05:52 PM
Are there any free online sweatpants patterns that are good for very challenged sewers? Like the following style:
http://www.rebelwear.com/practice/sweatpants.jpg
I suck at sewing so keep it simple (I made a pair of shorts for home ec. and the crotch somehow sucked into a massive knot/mess Cry)
And what would be a good material for sweatpants?
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / The idea of swapping kind of scares me on: January 15, 2009 03:20:09 PM
Well, I'm not really all that new to craftster, but I've never posted or anything.
I've gone over the swap rules and I think it'd be pree fun.
But the idea of a swap scares the bajeebers out of me! Embarrassed
Like is the shipping expensive?
How trustworthy is it to give my address to some decievingly annonymous organizer?
And for people who are ish at most things (like sewing, knitting, and sculpey) Do you have to be some brilliant artist like some I see here?
Oh, and how willing are people to trade with 14 year olds?Lol
Maybe I should just stay away from swapping for now....
