11  Fifties chair reupholstered *updated* with table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Polly Peanut on: March 29, 2013 04:43:44 AM
I found two of these beautiful chairs from the fifties at a garage sale (both for 15 bucks!) and decided to give them a makeover and a new home. So here is the first one, painted in white and covered with a Riley Blake fabric. I am totally in love with it - and it beeing my first "real" reupholstery job  - kind of proud.

Thanks for looking and happy easter, anyone!  Cheesy

EDIT: So, this is the whole set. I painted the small table and gave it a nice smooth oilcloth-cover to cover up the *OMGTHISISSOBAD*-surface. Cheesy

12  Felted Angry Birds can throwing game...kind of... in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Polly Peanut on: October 25, 2012 07:19:10 AM
My son is really into angry birds at the moment. And since we are waiting for the real game, I decided to make him my own version of it meanwhile.

I used felt, loooots of fabric glue and some polyester filling. And what can I say... I have to build new levels since 5 hours  Grin

They are all about the same size, about 6 inches.

Thanks for looking.  Cheesy

13  Re: Two pinboards - one for kids and one for me in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Polly Peanut on: March 12, 2012 05:41:47 AM
I made another one of these today, and this time I used elastics and batting to give it more body.

14  Two pinboards - one for kids and one for me (Updated with another one) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Polly Peanut on: March 07, 2012 11:34:01 AM
These are really simple to make but come out beautifully. Maybe I`ll attach some elastics tomorrow, so you actually don`t have to pin through the fabric.

The fabrics are Ephemeral Antiquity from Michael Miller and Just Hanging from Alexander Henry.

Thank you for looking! I would love to hear what you think!  Cheesy

15  Angry bird plushie / pillow in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Polly Peanut on: March 01, 2012 02:01:07 AM
My son loves them, he keeps giggeling whenever he sees them. So I made him his own. Just winged it after a photo, actually it was really easy and a quick project.

Thanks for looking! Comments & criticisms are highly appreciated!

Made from corduroy in hot pink and lime green with a felt applique. I will play with the dimensons before giving it away, but I kinda like the color combo.

Thanks for looking and I would love to hear what you think!  Cheesy

19  It`s a COWL! Half Cushion - half Owl :D in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Polly Peanut on: October 02, 2011 01:45:45 AM
I was making these for decorational purposes, but now I thought it was about time, to turn it into something the little ones would love to kuddle with.

It is really soft and has the perfect texture for little hands.

20  London Calling! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Polly Peanut on: September 24, 2011 11:57:35 AM

Simple bag with a fabric I absolutely fell in love with Cheesy Sides and back in black, lining is lime-green, which doesnt come off exactly as it is on the picture.

I`ve put cardboard on the sides and the bottom for more sturdiness, and it worked pretty great. I still have to topstitch it though Smiley

Thanks for looking and I would love to hear what you think  Cheesy
