1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Molly The Monkey x4 on: December 16, 2011 06:47:22 PM
Super cute!  Where did you get the fabric from?  I'd love to make a dress for my new niece out of it.

I downloaded the pattern once upon a time and never made him.  I think the reason she used fur was to hide the cross on his face, but it adds character in yours.  Very cute, and well done.  Do the eyes light up?

Wow!  Very stylish.  Those boots are awesome too.  I especially love the military style jacket.  What was the inspiration for it?  Are the fastenings functional?  Something like that in a canvas would look awesome in a steampunk outfit.

Very nice - they remind me of snowboarding pants in the styling (and low crotch).  Very stylish.

Es muy bonita y da miedo una poca.  Perfecto!

My cat is a little like that too - I only mention it because your avatar kitten looks just like her.  Is she / he your cat?  Is he / she a little scary?

Fantastic job.  These look great.  What pattern did you use for the backpacks?
8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Swap Round 2 Signups Closed on: February 19, 2010 04:43:57 PM

I've started on my large project - so far it's easier than the small project I have planned.  It's something I was planning on making for ages, but never got around to.  This is why swaps are great.

is postage really bad from Australia to Zealand?
I couldn't say for sure having never been there, but I imagine it has to be more expensive than shipping like from US to Canada because theres an ocean to cross.

Between 20 and 50 bucks for 1kg, depending on how it's sent.  So yes, for me at least, too expensive.  Not as expensive as sending to the states, but still, this is meant to be a budget challenge.
10  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: what's your favorite dumpling recipe? on: February 07, 2010 06:52:56 PM

I love pirogi (sp?).  The Polish dumplings - yum!  The eastern europeans seem to know how to dumpling.  I have just finished making some gyoza.  A similar recipe to Avian Flight's.  Though I added a little more garlic and a little less ginger to mine.  It worked well and was great with Japanese egg drop soup.
