181  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Shrug it ON. :) on: December 31, 2004 04:33:36 PM
yep - be sure to knit the 12 more rows - I caught that error in the pattern and notified the designer - I think they were going to change it.  i found out too late and had to frog mine out.  I've just got a few more rows to go and I'll finally be done re-knitting Cheesy  I've gone stripey with mine. And also knit it in the round since I hate seaming Cheesy
182  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 4x4 rib scarf ideas on: December 21, 2004 02:31:28 PM
you might want to just go for 2x2 on the edges.  The problem you've got is you've got a 4 stitch stockinette roll going on the edge....
Or you can do a 1 stitch garter edge and that might stop the roll too...

Does anyone happen to have the tutorial saved/cached offline somewhere? The pics are all listing as photobucket bandwith exceeded and I'm kicking myself for not pulling the instructions off for myself!
Help is appreciated Cheesy
Thanks a bunch

Excellent work Smiley I've cast on myself for this...out of curiousity, did you ever consider knitting it in the round? (the sleeves I mean) - I hate seaming...

I had a hard time envisioning the hug from the pattern, so I'm following the instructions...too far along to frog it and have a go in the round at this point.  I'll post atain when it's done Cheesy

I had some stash yarn I had to use...so I knitted up a set too Smiley

didn't want to post em to my blog yet since I have to send em off, but at the same time, i was so pleased at how they came out, I just had to share!
