My angel came through for me!  I'll post pics tomorrow, I got a wonderful purse, candle and holder, stitch markers, and a clock.  It's all wonderful!  Thank you!

Don't give up and try it again!  I love tie dyeing!!!  The shirts probably still had sizing and other chemicals on them from the store and I bet it repelled a lot of the dye which is why you got blobs of ink.  If you try it again just wash and dry them without fabric softener to remove all that.  I always soak mine in soda ash before tying and dyeing for more vibrant colors.  Also, always let them air dry before putting them in a dryer, you learned that the hard way unfortunately

All I did were put a couple bad photoshop filters over it and block out with some white   First I solarized then I embossed it.

Awesome bag!  And that star fabric is the softest I've felt too!  I saw it in pink and lime green at my local quilt store and it was so hard to leave it all on the bolt.

Very vague I know, I don't want her to find out everything!  That would be silly!  I took pics because she said she didn't have a camera except on her phone so when she confirms to me that she got it I'll post them in the gallery
