My package from Smeddley has arrived! She made me an adorably cute pink Pigmy Puff (it feels beautiful and so soft) and a Captain Hook needlebook - the stitching on this is exquisite (and I've been needing one for ages!).

Hooray!  I'm so glad you like it!  The lyric just seems so appropriate for making musical-related gifts for people. Smiley I was happy to see that you added Moulin Rouge too, as it's one of my favorite musical movies!  The music notes, by the way, are for the following line, "And you can tell everybody / This is your song."

Oh! I had no idea about the notes. That's so clever!

Brief Description: IM FRIENDLY. My friend wanted some penguin themed table numbers for upcoming wedding. There are 9 in total. Because of having black beaks, Chinstraps are completey back and white apart from their feet which are usually hidden underneath them.

Ludi - the Ganesha dotee is beautiful! I love the beading. I really like the vintage style of the tomato embroidery.

RBR - adorable jiji! I love that film.

LovelyMiss - So many projects!! They all look great though. I especially like the mugrugs. I have a thing for fabric and those are awesome. And I really like the way you used them.

CraftADDchick - lovely tea towels, I bet they really jazz up the kitchen, it was really good of you to help your friend with her sewing.

Pishaw13 - your hummingbird xstitch is lovely, it's a really beautiful design. Your mom must've been so pleased. I love the napkins and utensil holders, I really like the lace and burlap look, your wedding's going to be beautiful!

SBC - I love all the eye masks, I can't believe how quick you are! I would have thought they'd taken hours.

Project Name: Blackcurrent Jam
Brief Description: We made lots of jam yesterday 5 pots! Smiley Its a pretty red colour.
1. Wash and weigh blackcurrents (1kg) and bring to the boil in 1.25 litres of water. Simmer for 10 minutes or until skins are soft.
2. Add twice the weight of the berries in granulated sugar (2kg). Stir til disolved then boil.
3. Test for setting point using a cold plate then allow to cool and pot. Cover with brandy soaked paper to keep.

Brief Description: Lemons are yellow! Cheesy
1.   Boil 2 lemons until tender then pulp into paste.
2.   Line tin with baking paper and pastry then blind bake for 20 mins at 200 degrees.
3.   Beat together 2 eggs, 3 yolks and 8oz castor sugar. Stir in 7oz melted butter and the lemon pulp.
4.   Pour into pastry case and bake at 180 for 30-40 mins. Fillin should be soft when removed from oven. Leave aside to cool.
