11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Ghost Hunters/TAPS/GHI/GHA swap (sendouts 3/31) on: March 17, 2010 07:12:26 AM
It's probably too late to sign up for this swap, but could someone let me know if there will be another one of these? Ghost Hunters is my favorite show.... with GHI running second... shhh... don't tell Barry Fitzgerald that though.... he is a close personal friend and I wouldn't want him to know thatI like watching Jay and Grant more than I do him! lol =)

Thanks!

Goth Mummy.... When I had problems with my wrist years back I learned how to cross-stitch with my left hand. Not as fast, but I was determined... I held the hoop against my side and wrapped my right arm around it so I could hold it in place without my hand. It was a little difficult but I got it done!

I wish we had teleporters so I could teleport all of you gals some fabric. I'll keep working on building one  Wink I went through a few of the boxes and found some really fun fabric, including some to turn into quilts for donations. I'd share pics, but I'm being held prisoner by my cat thinking that my arm belongs to her. Kinda like the sewing machine.

Do you have this project of creating a teleporter on your list of 50? lol
Let me know when you have it complete and be sure to add directions because I would like to teleport myself somewhere else... or at least teleport the people I don't care to be around somewhere else!  Wink

I am totally joining this wild and wacky and frugal bunch! As a mom of 9 kids.... only 6 still living at home I have been frugal out of necessity! Looking forward to seeing more of the wonderful ideas everyone has! And now I have something to work on with my scraps of cotton yarn! I have something in mind.... actually I had it in my mind last week, bu\efore I saw this CAL, but now I am inspired to actually make it!

Oh bother.... So I joined the UFO CAL too, becasue I have over 25 of them so far... but I don't want to put those projects on this list. Should I just add them after the 50 or just keep a separate list? So much to do, so little time.....

19  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Doctor Who Scarf Knitalong on: February 01, 2010 06:30:51 AM
I made one of these already and absolutely loved being able to use some of my stash on this! I made it for a friend from ireland who actually used to watch the show back in the 70's a nd he loved it! I would like to make myself one with pastel colors. No rhyme or reason to it though, just total stash busting! If only I could knit up a real life David Tennant though! My oh my he was the cutest Dr. yet!
