11  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Drooling over a knit pattern, can you make it crochet? on: October 21, 2008 05:01:20 AM
http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer07/PATTunmentionables.html

This pattern makes me want to go learn how to knit. But sadly I really stink at knitting, does anyone know a pattern similar for crochet or anyone want to take a stab at making their own pattern for it?

Pleeeeassse I'd be in debt to you forever!

This is from my Ravelry project list, so it's worded oddly:)

Really? I was afraid to try this???

This is super simple, but man oh man, it looks difficult. The diamonds consist of 3 rows, and once you memorize the pattern (and that took all of 4-5 diamonds for me), its smooth sailing. I can do one block in about 15 minutes, but Ive been pretty lazy about working on this.

That looks great! the pattern looks soo hard though, i wish i could do it. are you basically doing granny squares?

I looove this blanket and would love to contribute and make one for myself as well.

Can someone tell me if this is a hard pattern? I'm good at crocheting (and love granny squares) but AWFUL at reading patterns.

HI! New here, though you will probably see a lot of me  Cheesy

I've been crocheting for quite a while and am pretty good if you teach me. I'm clueless when it comes to patterns. I really get confused, even took a class on it.

So I'm trying this ripple http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/cp2.html since it seems the most straight forward one.
