7  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: 12-point Star Blanket~along (a.k.a. Round Ripple) on: November 22, 2008 03:45:20 PM
I am using the pattern the OP posted
http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/roundripple.html

at the end it simply says to continue to alternate between 2 rounds of small V shells and 2 rounds of large V shells.

So I assumed on my own that you need to add an extra stitch every round, right? (It didn't say this) but I am confused because if you do small shells you are not increasing at all. So are you doing 2 rounds of the same number of stitches?

I'm so confused   Huh Huh Huh
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: 1940's or 1950 cheerleader lettermen's sweater on: November 19, 2008 04:48:37 PM
Couldn't you just find a sweater pattern and graph the letter?

My brother is soo hard to ship for, so i decided I really want to make him a beanie (snowboard/skateboard hat) for Christmas with a car label on it.

Does anyone know how to graph on a beanie? I am totally clueless and have never graphed before. Any help would be appreciated!!!
