Hi!  Here's a completed project from a free pattern posted on lionbrand.com .  I made this for my cousin's engagement party.  It was so easy to make (my first amirugumi but I'm can crochet well enough).

Any further ideas or takers for a "fill the paint bucket" swap?  What goes with paint buckets?  Industry?  Artistry?  Rainbow of colors?

I wanted a gi-normous purse to take on a flight.  Being the mom figure I knew I'd be carrying my purse, the kids' items, all our travel docs, and various snacks.  So I found the free pattern on Burda, "Charlie".

I used a different fabric for each side because I really wanted to use my mushroom fabric but failed to realize that I only had enough for 1 side, oh well.
The inside is white flannel material that was left over.  I didn't spend any money making this!  This is a great reusable shopping bag and it went together in a matter of like 2 hours, which for me is like instant gratification.

So, I just started making stitches and came up with a crazy flower twist that looks more like an anemone.  I like it though, and plan to make a variety of colors.  What does it look like to you?

I reconstructed these from a pair of my daughter's stretch pants she'd outgrown but I couldn't bear to let rest.  These were size 2T pants, I cut off at the crotch and hemmed; now they make great leg warmers for me!
